We are a Kindergarten class located in Santa Clarita, California which is located in Southern California near Magic Mountain.

Kindergarten End-of-Year Academic Expectations
Counts ten manipulative objects repeatedly with 1-to-1 correspondence.
Identifies numbers 0-40.
Prints numerals 0-30 correctly in sequence.
Counts orally, 1-100 by ones and tens.
Recognizes, completes and creates a simple three-attribute repeating pattern.
Identifies four shapes (circle, square, triangle, rectangle) recognizing and naming them. Demonstrates understanding of ordinal vocabulary (first, second, third, fourth, fifth).
Sorts objects by attributes.
Demonstrates understanding of comparision vocabulary (more; less; equal; same; tall/taller/tallest; short/shorter/shortest; long/longer/longest; heavier/lighter) not unit measure.
Demonstrates understanding of addition and substraction operations at the concrete level (without symbols) with combinations of five, so as to demonstrate different ways to make five.
Distinquishes four coins (penny, nickle, dime, quarter) by name.
